AeroTag 433 MHz: AeroTag is based on 433MHz Technology with read range from 10 meters and above. It has ability to read more then 25 tags at a time. Mainly suitable for detecting presence of multiple tags in a room, warehouse or port. Aerotag RFID System uses modern wireless technologies to help your business track inventory and equipment. An Aerotag RFID system is composed of an RFID reader and RFID tags. The RFID tag is attached or placed inside of the equipment or inventory. Aerotag 433MHz RFID tags contain micro electronic circuits that store product information. The tags transmit this information to a remote RFID reader.
Aerotag Dual Active RFID is a combination of 433MHz & 125 KHz RF/Wireless RFID technologies. It is specially developed for Gate Entry & Exit systems. It supports only one card reading at a time and fixed range of 6 meters.
125 KHz frequency is used to ensure that only tags within the range of 6 meters are detected, and for accurate identification 433 MHz frequency is used. The integration of 125 KHz allows AeroTag Dual readers to give accurate range of 6 meters. Accurate range is very important for Gate Entry/Exit applications.
The Active RFID technology that uses only 433MHz cannot guarantee a fixed range. Range can vary significantly (upto 100%) based on environmental conditions and line of sight. e.g. our AeroTag 433Mhz reader gives range of 10 meters but it may also detect tags at 15 meters or sometimes even at 20 meters.
This AeroTag is based on 2.4GHz technology. It offers thin tags and can read more than 100 tags at a time. Read range of reader can be changed from 3 meters to 20 meters using different antennas but it’s not fixed.
